Walking an Ultra Marathon
Looking back I wonder why I wanted to walk an ultra marathon (as for running I decided to literally learn to walk first rather than run). After all, what did I get out of it besides blisters, a few tears and legs that if they could, would have beaten the hell out of me and left me for dead because I certainly did torture them.

A marathon sounds intimidating, but that only makes the possibility of completing one all the more attractive, and impressive. You don't have to be an athlete to train for, and complete, a marathon. 36-Hour Charity Teleseminar Marathon Event To Raise $300,000
Singapore (PRWEB) September 7, 2007 -- Internet marketing expert and teleevangelist Stuart Tan (http://www.SuperTelethon.org) will go on a 36-hour charity interview marathon with over 20 other experts in their field in a bid to raise up to $300,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore.
What exactly is a tele-evangelist?
"We are passionate about reaching out to many people through the telephone and spread our work through teleseminars," says Stuart, who conceptualized the idea after seeing how Teleseminar Expert Alex Mandossian ran a Virtual Seminar over a one-week period with over 40 speakers on it. "I was amazed at the level of coordination that was required, and decided this could be done for charity, too."
The adopted charity is the Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore. "It so happens that their approach is unique where they grant wishes of the children who have life-threatening illnesses. Unlike other charities that use the money for medication or treatment, I think this approach is very meaningful." The local chapter here has four staff who have already granted over 200 wishes. Said Stuart, "I think if the awareness of this organization is higher, they can do more miracles."
During the teleseminar marathon, or telethon for short, Stuart will interview well-known marketers including internet multi-millionaires Alex Mandossian, Shawn Casey, Willie Crawford, copywriter Yanik Silver, affiliate millionaire Anik Singal and internationally acclaimed and best selling author Steven E, amongst others.
They will cover different aspects of internet marketing as well as personal development for beginning and would-be entrepreneurs. Said a fairly experienced internet marketer in Singapore, "This is a really powerful line up -- I'm astonished at the generosity and the value that is being delivered."
Stuart has also spoken to many bloggers who have agreed to blog for charity. Bloggers simply need to add the badge of identity using the code at SuperTelethon.org (www.SuperTelethon.org) when they talk about the event. Bloggers may go to SuperTelethon.org bloggers (www.SuperTelethon.org/bloggers/) to find out more about what they can do to help this charity do more.
The event begins at 9 a.m. Pacific Time on September 12, 2007, and participants must be pre-registered in order to receive notification on attendance. Donations of $10 will be accepted from basic donors, who will then have a single passcode to dial in live at any time. Donations of $77 will be accepted from premium donors who will then be able to receive the download files of all the speakers as well as the 'live' hourly giveaways. The official details are on http://www.SuperTelethon.org
