Zen School of Shiatsu Launches Video to Promote First London Shiatsu Marathon

(PRWEB) June 28, 2007 -- The Zen School of Shiatsu London and Zen Shiatsu Society have teamed up with Capital Radio for a 12-hour marathon of giving shiatsu massage to raise money for the charity Help a London Child.

Kris Deva North, of the Zen Shiatsu Society says, "Our Zen Shiatsu Society charter is to promote Zen Shiatsu as a healing therapy. What better than to combine with helping a fantastic charity right here in London? Children in need and in danger all over the world cry out for our help. The nearest cry is the loudest, the cry of our own kids here at home. Teachers and students at the Zen School got together and made a seven-minute video to show how people can both help and benefit from the very first London Shiatsuthon on Wednesday Fourth of July. Clients can get themselves pampered for a great cause, just lying down and enjoying stress relief plus the satisfaction of making a donation to Help a London Child. A little goes a long way to help a little one on their way. Practitioners can get themselves sponsored, plus gain the obvious practice-development benefits from going out to offices and meeting new potential clients."

The Zen School will be providing shiatsu massage-treatments from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 4th, at the School's premises in Central London, and also tasking out practitioners to give chair treatments in local offices.

"We're right on the edge of the City of London," says Kris, "the heart of the financial district. We're expecting a lot of City boys to take a few minutes out from high-stress dealing to come in fort some low-stress healing and put some of those bonuses to work for a great cause."

No need to book, just turn up anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., at the Zen School of Shiatsu 1st Floor 68 Great Eastern Street EC2A 3JT, just by the corner with Garden Walk and across the road from the Hoxton Hotel. A few steps from Old Street Tube on the Northern Line, a little further from Liverpool Street.

Donations can be made on-line, by post, or in person. The best way to understand how HALC helps is to read the stories of children who've benefited from donations to Help a London Child on the Zen Shiatsu web site, which also enables downloading Sponsor and Donation forms.
